Besties

Last week my very best friend came out to visit for a few days. Nancy and I have been best friends since we were in 3rd grade. Nancy and I were inseparable during elementary school, Jr high and most of High School. During our late teens and early twenties we lost track of each other a bit. Our lives were in different places. Eight years ago we reconnected and it was as if not a moment had passed. A few years ago Nancy got married and had her first child. Her daughter is Natalie and she is just three months younger than our little Heidi. Although we are a few states apart we are determined to have these little girls grow up to be friends. I laughed so hard at these pictures because these two little girls are seriously miniature versions of Nancy and I. The whole time she was here we would look at the girls together and say, "That's totally me and you." Love that after all these years we are still close. By the way, Nancy was always the Be Fri and I was always the st ends. If you understand that little message then consider yourself clever!
